In the autumn of 2011 ITAB acquired Nordic Light Group, which is one of Scandinavia's leading companies in retail lighting. Nordic Light sells, develops and manufactures a complete range of high-performance, energy-efficient display lighting fixtures.

Lighting has become an increasingly important part in today's stores.  From a design perspective, the right light can lift a store concept to a whole new level.  From a cost perspective, the right lighting means big energy savings for retailers. These are two areas where Nordic Lights products and systems are prominent.

ITAB can now add lighting to an already assiduous product and concept portfolio for chain stores with everything from lighting, shop fittings, checkouts to installation and project management.

Nordic Light Group operates in Sweden, China and the U.S. The head office is in Skellefteå where the function of sale, logistic, development and design is located. The Group also has two large production facilities in Suzhou and Shenzhen in China, where production of lighting and some interior products occurs.
